A HALLIWELL man was told to pay hefty costs of £460 after admitting an assault charge.
Rizwan Umar, aged 27, of Rawson Road, had previously denied attacking Philip Hurst on September 7, 2013, in Bolton but changed his plea when he appeared before magistrates on March 14.
The court ordered Umar to pay his victim £400 in compensation and a £60 victim surcharge.
