A SHOPLIFTER has been ordered to pay the Iceland store in Bolton £5 compensation after pleading guilty to stealing a bottle of sherry.
John Sokolowski, aged 25, of no fixed address, appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court following the theft on December 14 last year.
He was also ordered to pay £35 prosecution costs.
