A MOTHER who was driving with her four children in her car has been accused of ramming a police vehicle during a 30-mile pursuit.
Barbara Maycock, who was making her first appearance at court, is alleged to have been chased by police for 45 minutes along a 30-mile route from Fleetwood to Bolton.
She is said to have refused to stop and the pursuit ended in her crashing the car.
Maycock, aged 35, of Hathaway, Fleetwood, is charged with driving dangerously in a Nissan Micra in Fleetwood; on the M61; and in Wigan Road, Deane Road and Beaumont Road, in Bolton.
Martine Connah, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court. Maycock did not indicate a plea.
She was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on July 10 by Blackpool magistrates.
