A SHOPLIFTER who stole meat valued at £8 from the Asda store in Manchester Road, Burnden, has been sentenced to a community order by Bolton magistrates.
Damien Obertelli, aged 27, of Winchester Way, Breightmet, pleaded guilty to committing the offence on February 20.
He was ordered to take part in 12 drug and alcohol prevention sessions and pay a £60 victim surcharge.
