BOLTON West MP Julie Hilling backed Fuel Poverty Awareness Week as part of Labour’s campaign for energy prices to be frozen until 2017.
Ms Hilling joined campaigners on Lee Lane to let residents know about schemes to help them pay their bills.
She said: “Speaking to residents in Horwich on fuel poverty it’s clear not only vulnerable and older people are struggling with their energy bills, working people are too.”
