BOLTON magistrates have jailed a man for eight weeks after he admitted attempting to steal jewellery in Little Lever on March 27.
The court heard how Stephen Hoyes, aged 46, of Waverley Square, Farnworth, was drunk and had only recently been released from prison for a previous offence when he attempted to steal the jewellery.
