A WALKING club will host a number of outings next week.
On Wednesday, April 23, people can join Bolton HF Walking Club on the 11-mile Downham/Pendle walk which will meet at Downham village car park, nearest postcode BB7 4BN, at 10.30am.
Three other walks will be held at the same time — the eight-mile St George’s Day walk which will meet at the Royal Oak Hotel car park, Wigan Lower Road, Standish, the seven-mile Nab Wood and White Coppice walk which will meet at Knowsley Lane, Anglezarke Reservoir, and the six-mile Brinscall Circular will meet in Lodge Bank, by Brinscall Baths.
On Saturday, April 26, the eight-mile rail ramble to Saddleworth villages will meet on the platform at Bolton Railway Station in time for the 10.39am train to Manchester Victoria.
And on Sunday, April 27, there will be a coach trip to the Lake District where there will be three walks of varying lengths.
