A SECOND series of Bolton presenter Vernon Kay's show Just the Two of Us is being planned following impressive ratings.
The BBC1 show ended on Saturday, and was won by EastEnders actress Hannah Waterman and ex-Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow.
It had an average of 5.4 million viewers, which put it at the top of the terrestial television charts.
This Life pulled in 3.4 million viewers for BBC2, with ITV1 managing 3.5 million viewers, Channel Five 3.2 million and Channel 4 1.4 million.
Just the Two of Us was billed as a celebrity duet contest, and pitched non-singers with musical stars.
Vernon presented the show with his wife, Tess Daly.
A BBC source said: "The bosses were very happy with the ratings of this show."
