A FIRE swept through a house in Boothstown.
Crews were called to Fellfoot Close at 1.30pm on Monday to deal with a blaze in the hall.
The family were not in the semi-detached house at the time. All of the upstairs rooms were smoke damaged.
The fire service are investigating the blaze, which is believed to have been started accidentally.
