A DEANE man has admitted damaging a patio window but denied a racially aggravated assault against a woman.
Sajid Jangharia, aged 29, of Willows Lane, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage to magistrates on May 1 after causing £500 of damage to a rear patio window on April 30.
Jangharia denied two counts of assault by beating against a woman, which also allegedly happened on April 30, as well as a charge of racially aggravated assault against the same woman.
He was remanded on bail until he is due to stand trial at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on July 31.
