A FAMOUS Westhoughton band has been asked to perform at a spring festival.
Wingates Band will provide traditional brass band music at the Newburgh Spring Festival, from 7.30pm on Saturday.
They will be performing fresh from their success in the Senior Cup in Blackpool.
The cup and victor’s banner will be displayed at the show.
Admission to the Newburgh concert is £10, payable at the door.
