A HALLIWELL man will be sentenced for beating another man and assaulting a police officer.
Damon Denton, aged 29, of Woking Terrace, admitted beating Robert Denton on May 4 and assaulting PC Alex Merret in the execution of his duty on May 4.
He will be sentenced on May 28 at Bolton Magistrates Court.
