HORWICH police community support officers are warning people about a spate of number plate thefts.
The use of a black Vauxhall Zafira has been linked to a number of the thefts in the area. It was also seen being driven off without payment being made at a petrol station.
Police are asking people to report suspicious behaviour to police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
