A FUNDRAISING event to raise money for a local animal charity will be held at Jollyes Pet Store in Bolton tomorrow.
Bunnyhop Rescue will be holding a tombola sale at the Crompton Way store from 11am to 4pm to raise money to help the many abandoned rabbits and guinea pigs they take in.
Kay Waugh, who runs Bunnyhop Rescue, says many rabbits are bought by parents for their children only for the youngsters to get fed up with them.
“Rabbits need a lot of attention and care and anyone wanting to find out more about having rabbits as pets should call in on Saturday and have a chat,” said Mrs Waugh.
Bunnyhop Rescue is based in Westhoughton.
