A CHARITY supporter swapped business for bikes when he hosted his first spin class.
Dave Evans, co-founder of leadership business coaching company Stratagem+, took the class at V1ntage Health and Wellness Studio, Knowsley Street.
It involved intense exercise bike session, with V1ntage co-founder and DJ Ian Harrison providing the soundtrack.
The event, led by Mr Evans, a leadership coach who lives in Blackrod, raised more than £100 for Bolton Hospice.
It is one of many charity events and challenges hosted by V1ntage, which has set up Facebook group FACE of Bolton (Fundraise, Aspire, Challenge, Enjoy), for people to share their efforts.
Gareth Price, from V1ntage, said: “The core of the page will be V1ntage members to start with, as we have 14 challenges in 2014.
"But it’s not specifically V1ntage or Bolton Hospice, our aim is to provide a forum, community and social media focus for people who fundraise whilst taking on a personal challenge.”
