Band name: Parallel Oreos

Members:
George Morgan, aged 14, from Bolton, Adam Critchlow, aged 14, from Bolton, Jay Harland, aged 14, from Newburgh, and Sanny Hussain, aged 14, from Bolton.

When and where did you form?
We formed at Bolton School, we were originally playing as just three of us but at the start of 2013 Jay joined and we have been going since then.

What is your sound and who are your influences?
Indie/pop/acoustic, we are influenced by Mumford and Sons, Ed Sheeran and Arctic Monkeys.

What is the biggest gig you have played to date?
We have played in front of the whole school and we have also played at the Roadhouse in Manchester.

If you are not already, is it your ambition to become professional?
We would definitely like to become a professional band.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Obviously as a young band, we have big aspirations. We would like to be playing in big venues all over the world.

Is there anything unusual or interesting about the band?
We can all play each other’s instruments and we can all play more than five instruments.

Upcoming gigs?
We are lined up to be on the bill at a festival this summer called Festwich (in Prestwich), we are playing a gig this summer with two other bands from our school and we are playing at a wedding towards the end of the year.
