THE bright young things of Great Lever are loving their unique multi-million pound “school in the park”.
Children are now settled into Clarendon Primary School’s new £6.5 million campus in Heywood Park — and are enjoying using the latest 21st century resources to learn and play in the purpose-built large outdoor area.
Emily Kirk, executive principal is leading the school until Vicky Chatterjee takes over as new head in September, said: “The children all love their new school and it seems like we have been here forever.
“Everyone took the move in their stride and we are all enjoying the opportunities that our new building provides for exciting learning.
