PROTECTED trees along a footpath in Astley Bridge will be cut back.
Mrs Cooper, a resident of Pendle Court, applied to Bolton Council for permission to trim the nine trees — a mixture of elm, ash and sycamores — as they are dropping on to the path in Thorns Road.
