A HORWICH dad has won £10,000 from buying car insurance.
After purchasing his insurance using comparison site confused.com, Lester Tatton filled out a form to enter into a weekly prize draw, which saw him win the jackpot prize.
The 46-year-old, from Wilderswood, was presented with a cheque by Confused.com mascot Brian the Robot and said he felt “extremely lucky” to win the prize.
Mr Tatton, who lives with his partner Amanda and 10-year-old daughter Molly, added: “When I received the phone call to say I had won £10,000, I was completely blown away and couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
“However, it has now slowly started to sink in. I have never won anything in my life before, so I’m utterly shocked to have been fortunate enough to have won such a huge amount of money.
"Winning £10,000 is something that doesn’t happen to someone like me, but maybe my luck is about to change.”
The website's draw offers weekly prizes of £10,000 for 13 weeks — with Mr Tatton winning the first week’s jackpot.
