A TRIAL date has been set for a man charged with beating a woman he is prohibited from contacting.
Zak Platt, aged 26, of Empress Street, Halliwell, denies beating a woman on July 27.
He has admitted contacting the woman when he was prohibited from doing so and he admitted possessing a snap bag of cannabis on the same date.
He will stand trial at Bolton Magistrates Court on November 11.
