A MAN was stranded in a broken lift for 50 minutes during the night in a block of flats in Deane.
Fire crews had to lower the lift in Blackshaw Lane after it had become stuck between the ninth and 10th floors at around 5am yesterday.
The man, in his mid-50s, was unhurt.
