A WOMAN who stole a handbag at Bolton Library has been given a curfew and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
Julie Leach, aged 42, of Bromwich Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to stealing the bag and its contents, worth £56, from another woman on May 10.
Magistrates gave Leach a 14-day curfew during which she will be electronically tagged and made to stay at home from 7pm to 7am.
