A BROMLEY Cross homeowner has been given the go-ahead to demolish his garage and build a two-storey side extension in its place.
Mike Wright told Bolton Council that the new extension would allow him to extend his kitchen and utility room, plus build a fourth bedroom and shower room on the first floor at his property in Turton Road.
Officers at the authority awarded him planning permission on the basis that builders use materials that match the rest of the house.
