BOLTON School will be hosting this year’s North of England Girls’ School Association (GSA) Girls Go Gold Conference.
There will be two nationally renowned speakers — rower Helen Glover MBE, who is the reigning World and Olympic champion in the women’s coxless pairs and Jenny Meadows, the European Indoor champion at 800m and third fastest British woman over this distance.
The theme of the day will be “Where Sport Can Take You” and a variety of speakers and workshops will illustrate the many career paths in sport.
The day is designed to inspire the girls, and pupils from independent schools from across the country will attend the event on Thursday, September 18.
