TIGHTER legislation is needed to stop cold-callers hassling Bolton residents over the phone, councillors agreed.
After a motion by Cllr Paul Wild was unanimously approved at the full council meeting, the authority will now write to the government asking them to do more to stop ‘nuisance’ telephone calls to private addresses.
