PLANNING officers are urging councillors to refuse plans to build a double extension on a Daubhill mid-terrace house.
The Garfield Road resident wants to create a two-storey extension at the front and back of his property.
At the October meeting of the planning committee, councillors deferred making a decision until they completed a site visit.
Now, in a report ahead of Thursday’s meeting, officers said the first floor extension blueprint would have an “unacceptable impact” on neighbouring residents if built.
Another resident wrote to the council to say if built, they “will be looking at brick walls” and light would be restricted coming into his house.
Councillors will vote on the scheme at Thursday’s meeting of the planning committee, which will be held in Bolton Town Hall.
