BOLTON Hospice is gearing up to host its annual Christmas fair.

The fair, which is being held at the hospice on Saturday November 29, will feature an appearance from Santa, festive choirs, a brass band and various stalls.

There will also be a range of refreshments for sale, including mulled wine and mince pies.

Bolton Hospice is looking for organisations to donate items for the event.

Siobhan McGarel, events coordinator at Bolton Hospice, said “We really enjoy welcoming the local community to our hospice and celebrating at this festive time. We are desperately in need of any schools or organisations that can supply chocolate and bottles for our tombolas and unwanted toys, books and DVDs for our stalls. We are hoping that the public will support their local charity at this time and make this a great success.”

The fair is at the hospice's premises in Queen's Park Street, off Chorley New Road, from 11am to 2pm.
