A CHURCH was transformed into a traditional Christmas market for the day.
Members of St Peter's Church on the outskirts of Belmont transformed the inside of the church into a market for the event which was held on Saturday.
The market event was held to raise funds for much-needed repair work on the historic building, which was built in 1849.
On the day, visitors were able to shop at traditional Christmas stalls where gifts and food were available.
Assistant Church Warden, George Skinner, said:"The market was a great success with hundreds of people visiting from far and wide, we would like to thank everyone involved."
