YOUNG Ryan Cain has chalked up success in a school competition by designing a new logo.
Now his artwork will be seen on everything from letter-heads to the school uniform and the seven-year-old is delighted.
When head teacher Mrs Katie Hague took over at All Saints Primary School in Moses Gate she decided it was time for another change — that of the school logo.
She wanted it to reflect the school's ethos of friendship, fellowship and hope and wanted to reflect the school's international intake.
"Ryan was in year one at the time and when we saw his logo we felt it summed the school up perfectly," said Mrs Hague of the logo which shows figures holding hands around an image of the world.
Local graphic designer Jill Rowbotham gave her time for free and helped turned Ryan's felt-tipped drawn picture into a computer image and now it is starting to appear around the school.
