RESEARCH released by the Business Advice Service (BAS) has revealed Bolton firms are performing robustly.
The findings by the ICAEW's BAS show the national average turnover for a British business is £505,644.33.
In Bolton's three constituencies, Bolton South East it is 567,246.70, Bolton North East £501,882.75 and Bolton West £490,696.08, ranking 23rd, 36th and 42nd respectively in the 75-constituency North West table.
Across Britain, Bolton South East leads the way, ranking 138th in the a list of 632 regions overall, meaning the constituency is among the top 25 per cent performing regions based on annual business turnover.
Stephen Ibbotson, ICAEW director of business said: "Bolton's three constituencies have shown strong performance, in particular Bolton South East."
