BUDDING musicians opened the third concert in a week-long series to showcase the talents of youngsters from across Bolton.
Bolton Beginner Concert Band took to the stage at Victoria Hall, Knowsley Street — led by musical directors Robbie Gardiner and Dave Greenland — to play songs called Blue Jam, Lion Sleeps Tonight and Camptown Races.
The concert was brought to a close by Bolton Youth Brass Band with a run of five songs including Pharrell Williams' hit Happy.
They are being performed each evening until Friday to showcase the instrumental and choral work undertaken by students at Bolton Music Centre, New York.
The other ensembles which took part on Wednesday were Bolton North Training Choir, Little Lever Training Choir, Bolton North Training Choir, Little Lever Training Choir, a group from guest school Spindle Point, Bolton Intermediate Guitar Ensemble, Bolton Youth Guitar Ensemble and Bolton Recorder Ensemble.
