A TOWN centre store was shut for a short time after the fire alarm was sounded.
Firefighters attended the Game store in Newport Street at about 2pm, where smoke emanating from a faulty air conditioning unit had caused the alarm to go off.
The store was closed for about 10 minutes, and the smoke was limited to the first floor building where the unit is stored.
