STAFF at Morrisons in Bolton town centre have raised £430 for the Sue Ryder charity by selling homemade cakes and dressing up in fancy dress.
Workers at the Dawes store in Blackhorse Street, including Sidra Irshad, and Natasha White, made a variety of sweet treats including cupcakes, chocolate cakes and sweet cones and sold them in store on Saturday.
There was also a raffle and store manager Scott Dunkley dressed up as Bugs Bunny and assistant department manager Tom Coldman wore a turkey outfit to collect money from customers.
Sue Ryder is Morrisons' charity of the year and offers free help for people with life-limiting illnesses.
Miss White said: I'm really happy that the staff have raised the money for the charity. It's for a really good cause and I feel proud that the store have pulled together to make cakes and sweet cones to help the important cause."
