TWO scrap cars were set alight in a suspected arson attack at a scrapyard in Daubhill.
The cars, which were not within the S&S Motors compound, in Derby Street, were set on fire at about 12.30am in the early hours of today.
A spokesman for the fire service said the incident was being treated as suspicious, and that it has been handed over to officers at Greater Manchester Police.
