YOUNG artists branched out as they drew inspiration from Bolton Museum's Sycamore Collection.
The event was held to showcase the museum's latest exhibition — 20th Century British Prints: Highlights from the Sycamore Collection — which feature prints by some of the best known artists of the century, including John Craxton.
To mark the exhibition creative youngsters were invited to experiment with different printing techniques.
The event was one of many half-term activities taking place for children in Bolton.
A Bolton Council spokesman said: “We’ve had a host of half term and bank holiday events happening in various locations across Bolton Library and Museum Services this week. From space themed craft activities at some of our libraries to bug sessions at our historic halls, there has been something for all tastes and ages.
"Plans are now under way for our packed summer programme of events, which includes lots of free and family-friendly activities at both historic halls, our libraries and Bolton Museum and Central Library in Le Mans Crescent. Visit www.boltonlams.co.uk for more details.”
