A MAN who was left fighting for his life after an attack at a house in Farnworth has regained consciousness in hospital.
The 33-year-old victim was found dazed and confused in Bolton town centre on Friday, a day after he is thought to have been attacked at the house in Crompton Street, Farnworth.
He was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital and later transferred to Hope Hospital in Salford with a fractured skull and bleeding to the brain.
Police said his condition is improving and hope to be able to take a statement from the victim later this week.
- David Rawlinson, aged 27, of Wildbrook Close, Little Hulton, has appeared in court charged with grievous bodily harm and remanded until a later date.
