OVER a number of years, we have received an enormous amount of support from your most excellent publication.
Both the reporters and photographers have been both supportive and considerate; also, to a large degree, they have been accurate in what they have said, which, in itself, is not always something which one gets from many newspapers.
This all started with Angela Kelly about 10 years ago, and so it was only fitting that it ended with Angela's column this week. My wife Margaret wept when she read the story which Angela wrote this week. Thank you, dear, for a very beautiful send off, even if you did make a slight boob - Margaret comes from Chepstow, not Padstow, but we forgive you.
I think that it can safely be said that this must be one of the best town newspapers in the country, and very committed to community values, which is something very sadly missing from many areas of our modern society.
Again our thanks and keep up the good work.
