I write in response to the manner in which you reported the news regarding the BNP fielding various candidates at the forthcoming local elections.
Using your editorial as a personal attack on a legitimate political party was incredible and might as well have come directly from the Labour party and not from someone with a duty to show at least a modicum of impartiality.
I am a proud member of the BNP and am standing in the Little Hulton ward of Salford, for the aforementioned election, I dont consider myself nasty or evil, just one of thousands of normal, disgruntled everyday folk who have had enough of becoming second class citizens in this once great country.
The reason that the BNP will do well across the country in these elections is that people are disillusioned with European interference, the lies over Iraq and favourable treatment given to economic migrants whilst people who have paid into the system all their working lives are finding it hard to survive. These points are of vital importance to the people of this country but are conveniently ignored by the three main parties.
