Hindsford (Res) 0 Lads Club 2 CUP holders Bolton Lads Club struggled to dominate the game until they went ahead with a penalty awarded by the assistant referee. Bolton continued to struggle into the second half, with the home side putting them under increasing pressure while playing up the slope. The visitors hung on and broke away with five minutes to go, leading to the home defence conceding a second penalty. Wes Gallagher gladly accepted his second penalty.

Atherton Town 3 A&T 1 A comfortable win for Atherton was notable for an inspired performance from A&T's goalkeeper Rob Bennett. He kept the score to 1-0 at half-time after Lee Parton scored after 35 minutes. More defensive work by the visitors in the second half led to several missed chances, until A&T's luck ran out and Mark Parry and Mark Prince scored further goals for Atherton. Despite this, the visitors didn't let their heads drop and Tony Moss scored a late consolation, lwhen he lobbed the ball over the Atherton keeper from 15 yards.

Leigh RMI 0 Highfield 4 Even with the scores level at 0-0 at half time, it was clear that the home team were struggling in the very hard, dry conditions against a highly competitive Highfield side. Playing the second half up the slope at Hindsford FC, the Wigan League side looked increasingly dominant until Jamie Harrison broke the deadlock on 60 minutes. Ben Kay immediately doubled the score, and shortly afterward Jamie Harrison scored again with a tap-in. Neil Westhead completed the scoring for Highfield close to the end with a marvellous low drive from over 30 yards.
