MINDLESS yobs in Bolton started two fires when more than 100 firefighters were tackling a large blaze.

Crews from Bolton Central — where one fire engine had been sent to the blaze in Wigan — were called to a charity clothes drop-off bin on Quebec Street, off Deane Road, just before 5am today

At 6.20am they were called to Station Park in Horwich, where a bin had been set alight.

Watch manager Tony McKenna said: "The fires are being treated as deliberate.

"We were tied up for 45 minutes at the Horwich incident and an hour in Quebec Street.

"Fires like this stretch resources."
