A SCI-FI fair is returning to Bolton and will give dads a special "heroes" welcome.
The Last Drop Village is hosting the 'Day of The Daleks and the Stormtrooper Alliance' this Sunday (June 21) - Father's Day.
Special guest this year is actress Katy Manning, who starred in Dr Who alongside John Pertwee.
David Baber, co-organiser, said: "The Bolton Sci-Fi Comic Book Fair has the usual fun exhibitors selling comic books this year but all the mums and dads will love to see the daleks on display as well as the return of the 99th Garrison who come dressed as Stormtroopers from Star Wars.
"This will really add a special something.
"We also have the superheroes returning, including Iron Man and Captain America, Spiderman and Batman who will be available at our photo shoot sessions.
"This year, fans can go away with that extra special Father's Day gift all in the spirit of helping to raise money in aid of Bolton Hospice."
The fair starts runs from 11am to 4pm and is being staged in The Last Drop's Pennine Suite.
