A BURGLAR cycled off with a cash till under his arm after breaking into a restaurant.
The raider targeted at The Bistro, Market Street, Adlington, and rode off along Market Street to Cemetery View on a black mountain bike before leaving the till behind.
He was wearing a black jacket and a hat.
The incident happened at around 6am on Friday, April 27, and it was one of three eateries to be hit at around the same time. Chorley police believe the incidents could be linked.
One person tried to break in to The Village Chippy, also in Market Street, Adlington, between 5am and 7am on the same day, but was not able to force open the rear door to gain access to the premises.
In another incident, cash was stolen from Sharju's Indian restaurant, Church Street, between April 26 and 27 after a burglar gained access through the rear door.
Anybody with information they should contact Chorley Police on 01257 269021 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
