BUSINESSES that want to take advantage of Bolton Wanderers' growing presence in China have been invited to an information day to hear about expanding the town's links on a football-led trade mission.
Steve Bellis, a director of Lynx International, the company organising the event, said: "Bolton Wanderers is twinned with Chinese Super League Club Wuhan, along with a coaching and development set-up in the district.
"Their established relationship provide a cracking opportunity for businesses to have a slice of the trade potential in one of the world's largest markets."
A former commercial director of Stockport County Football Club, Mr Bellis believes football can be used as a unique market entry strategy for other British companies.
The event is on Tuesday May 8, from 11am to 1pm in the Chairman's Suite at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton. Email: china event@bwfc.co.uk or call 01565 624 090 for details.
