GRAB your umbrellas as rain is set to batter Bolton this weekend.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert of rain for North West England, running from 3pm on Saturday until 3am on Monday when up to 20cm of rain could fall.
The areas affected are Greater Manchester, Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Cumbria, Halton, Lancashire, Merseyside and Warrington.
Yellow warnings are issued to urge people to 'be aware' as severe weather is possible over the next few days which could disrupt day-to-day activities or affect travel plans.
