BOLTON buddies Paddy McGuinness and Vernon Kay put their decades of friendship to the test to see how well they really know each other.

The TV presenters guessed each other's best moments and embarrassing fashion faux pas, such as Paddy's dodgy perm and Vernon's silk tartan trousers paired with a waistcoat, by writing down their answer secretly on a piece of card while the other guessed.

The greedy pair bonded as they took part in the KFC Friendship Bucket Test where for each question answered correctly, they received a piece of fried chicken.

The lads answered the same when asked what they have most in common — being from the same town.

Vernon said: "I think everyone from Bolton is proud of being from Bolton. You should always be proud of where you're from and Bolton is a working class town, were everyone is your friend"

Speaking of his bad hair day, Paddy said: "I've had the long perm going on, I've had a back perm, and I've had streaks. I mean can you imagine it, but at the time I was like the king of Bolton, it was fantastic."
