IT could quite possibly be Vernon Kay's biggest challenge yet — can he eat an After Eight mint straight from his forehead?
The Bolton broadcaster is one of a number of celebrities attempting the feat, including former Spice Girl Melanie C and Neighbours favourite Alan Fletcher, aka Karl Kennedy.
Now in its second year, the After Eight Challenge raises money for Kenny Dalglish's wife's cancer charity The Marina Dalglish Appeal.
The rules are simple. Form two teams and line up with a box of After Eight Mints — the first person in each team pops one on their forehead and has to manoeuvre it down to their mouth without using their hands. As soon as they get it in their mouth the next person can start, until the team have completed and are crowned the winner.
Vernon managed to do it in a respectable 24 seconds and three attempts — but the celebrity winner by far was Stereo Kicks' Jake Sims who manoeuvred the mint in just one second.
