MOTORISTS are being warned of severe delays on the motorway due to a crash involving four cars.
The road is closed and there is queueing traffic due to the accident on the M62 Eastbound between J18 M60 / M66 (Simister Island) and J19 A6046 (Heywood).

There is congestion on the M60 to J13 A572 / A575 / B5211 (Worsley) following the incident, just after 1pm on Wednesday.
The M62 westbound from Rochdale towards Simister Island is gridlocked
Two vehicles have struck and damaged the central reservation barrier.
Traffic is being taken off at J18 and onto the M66. Trapped traffic is now being released but there are still heavy delays.
