A NEW spot to get a late-night meal could be coming to Farnworth if planners approve.

Plans have been submitted to Bolton Council to split up a storage unit in Egerton Street, turning one half into a cafe or hot food takeaway and the other into a car repair space.

Applicant Ansar Hussain, of Campbell Court, has also requested permission to replace the units flat roof with pitched roof, while an attached unit will be converted from storage space into a garage.

The first floor will be retained as a storage area with the addition of two toilets.

The units are located on the same site as Egerton Street Tyres and the applicant proposes for the takeaway to operate from 11am to 11pm, Monday to Friday, and 11am to midnight on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

The garage would operate 4am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sunday and Bank Holidays.
