THE body of a man in his 60s has been found at a property in Bolton.

Officers were called to Ramsay Avenue in Farnworth at 9.45am this morning, Monday April 25.

Eyewitnesses described seeing an ambulance arrive at the property before police arrived.

Forensics remain at the scene and an officer is stationed outside.

The house is not taped off with police crime scene tape and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The man was named locally as ‘Keith’.

A police spokesman confirmed: “Shortly before 9:45am on Monday, April 25, police were called to an address on Ramsay Avenue, Farnworth by the ambulance service after the body of a man believed to be in his 60’s was found.

“There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
