A YOUNG Bolton Wanderers fan has become an international internet star after his video blog was shared around the world — even being shown on Italian television.

Whites fan Theo Ogden’s latest ‘vlog’ — entitled The Moment Leicester City Won the Premier League at Stamford Bridge — has racked up more than 120,000 views on YouTube.

Theo, aged 15, who goes by the name Thogden online, usually receives about 1,000 views for his vlogs from Whites matches but created his latest video after filming at the Chelsea versus Spurs game at Stamford Bridge last week — which resulted in a draw and handed Leicester City a remarkable Premier League title triumph.

He edited the video in his bedroom in the early hours of Tuesday morning and was shocked to see the viewing figures rack up.

He was even more surprised when one of Italy’s top sports newspapers, Corriere Dello Sport, bought the Italian rights to the video and played segments of it on Italian television, in a tribute to Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri.

The video has also been shown on the news channel CNN in Chile.

Lifelong Wanderer Theo said: “To be honest I nearly choked on my corn flakes when I saw the numbers. I usually get around 1,000 views for my Bolton Wanderers videos or my online gaming vlogs so this was mental.

“Someone posted my video on the Match of the Day site, and someone else sent it to Gary Lineker. Then things just went wild.

“I couldn’t believe it when a friend rang up from Tuscany and told me he’d just seen it featured on Italian TV — I thought he was mugging me off.”

Theo is the son of Bolton fan Stephen Ogden and the grandson of lifelong Wanderer Barry Ogden.

He and his family moved from his home town of Altrincham to London six years ago.

A GCSE drama student, Theo set up his YouTube account to share amateur gaming videos with friends, but was soon urged to widen the scope of his content.

He signed with a sponsor in early 2016 and now has over 2,000 loyal subscribers.

His channel has landed him acting auditions with Warner Brothers and the Hampstead Theatre.

He added: “I vlog because I love it — not because of the pocket money I earn or the attention.

"Vlogging has made me a more confident person and I’d love to have a career in the media one day.

"Vlogging at Bolton matches this season was brilliant. Other Bolton fans really supported my videos online and gave me some great encouragement."
